Most striking places of Sweden

Tivoli Grona Lund

Take the kids to Stockholm’s hugely popular theme park, which is full of everything you’d expect from roller coasters to haunted houses and more. This is a great day out for the whole family.

National museum Stockholm

If you like art, you should definitely pay a visit to the Swedish National Gallery. It’s home to a vast collection of paintings and sculptures, with everything from medieval to modern works, including Cezanne, Rembrandt and Rubens.

Langholmen

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Stockholm and head for Langholmen, a small island near the city, which is famed for its natural beauty. You’ll find beautiful beaches, some perfect picnic spots and some great restaurants to boot.

Haga Gothenburg

Head to Haga to get a taste of 19th century Sweden, and kick back in Gothenburg’s more bohemian quarter. Full of picture-perfect old wooden houses and a huge number of excellent cafes, it’s the perfect place to meet friends or just relax and watch the people go by.

Maritiman Gothenburg

Twenty vessels make up the Maritiman museum, which is the largest floating museum in the world. Explore fishing boats, a fire-fighting ship, and even venture down into a submarine, before getting lost aboard the enormous destroyer.

Skiing

Head to the country’s northern reaches if you’re looking for ski resorts that stay open well after Easter. Resorts like Are and Vemdalen offer up a range of non-skiing activities too, such as snowmobile safaris and husky sleigh rides.

The world is a book and those who do not travel have just read a page. Book worldwide Vacation Rentals, holiday cottages, holiday villas for your holiday trips.
